PUEOQUI means to begin in the Shipibo Conibo language. It is fitting for the name of her first collection, where Peruvian fashion designer - Ani Alvarez Calderon - introduces the first collection of her creative collaboration for the preservation of Kene Textiles through timeless fashion pieces. In 2020, Ani and her daughter Arianne, began a creative union alongside a collective of Shipibo Conibo artists to support and sustain Kene textiles.
