On the fifth day of the Miss Universe 2025 competition, Karla Bacigalupo, Miss Peru, chose Beneai once again as part of her wardrobe. This time wearing a two-piece set crafted from an extraordinary hand-embroidered textile created by Nayeli Gimenez Creo, an artist from the Beneai Collective. .

For the first day of the competition, Karla wore a hand-embroidered textile created in collaboration with Victoria Vasquez, a Shipibo Conibo artisan from the Beneai Collective. This piece reflects the depth, color, and symbolism of Kene Art.

Helena Gualinga Wears Beneai at the Latin American Fashion Awards
We are honored to have dressed the inspiring Helena Gualinga for the Latin American Fashion Awards 2025, an evening dedicated to celebrating the vision and creativity shaping Latin America’s cultural landscape.
Helena wore a gown crafted from a textile created by Hermesilia Bardales RamÃrez, a Shipibo Conibo artisan from the Beneai Collective.
To wear Beneai is to wear a story: one of heritage, collaboration, and the voices of the women who keep these traditions alive.

Beneai at the Latin America Fashion Summit, Miami
We are honored to have participated in the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS) Pop-Up 2025 in Miami. space that celebrates the creativity, craftsmanship, and vision shaping the future of Latin American design.
For this edition, Beneai presented Collection 11: Itunia, a tribute to the vibrant colors and floral beauty of the Amazon. Each piece was created in collaboration with eight Shipibo Conibo artisans from the Beneai Collective, whose ancestral knowledge continues to guide and enrich our contemporary design practice.
Being part of LAFS reaffirms our commitment to bringing Peruvian craftsmanship to global stages while honoring the communities who safeguard this cultural legacy. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with visionaries, founders, and creators who share our belief in the power of design to preserve heritage and inspire generations to come.

Nathalie Kelley Wears Beneai at the Liberatum Gala in London
We are deeply honored that actress and environmental advocate Nathalie Kelley chose Beneai for the Liberatum Gala 2025, an evening dedicated to celebrating global cultural leaders and the voices working to protect the Amazon.
For this occasion, Nathalie wore an extraordinary hand-embroidered gown crafted by Victoria Vasquez, an artist from the Shipibo-Conibo community and a cherished member of the Beneai Collective.
In her own words, Nathalie shared how profoundly the night moved her, expressing admiration for the artisans and designers safeguarding Amazonian heritage. We are grateful she chose to honor this story and carry this piece of living culture on such a meaningful night.

Beneai x Pure Amazon Riverboat: Cushions Inspired by the Spirit of the Amazon
Beneai proudly presents custom-designed cushions created exclusively for the Pure Amazon Riverboat — a project that merges contemporary vision with ancestral craftsmanship.
Dreamed and brought to life by Arianne Carrillo, the collection showcases 20 unique designs, each radiating its own story, texture, and energy. Every cushion is hand-embroidered with mastery by artists Clara Pacaya Silvano and Luz Esther Rengifo, ensuring no two pieces are ever alike. Together, they infuse each stitch with the heartbeat of the Amazon, transforming everyday objects into vibrant works of art.
These cushions not only celebrate the creativity and heritage of the Beneai Collective, but also elevate the Pure Amazon Riverboat into a floating gallery of Amazonian culture and design.
Guests are invited to set sail in comfort and style, surrounded by these creations, while exploring the wetlands of the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve — one of the most biodiverse treasures of the Amazon.

Beneai Pop Up — London
We brought the Itia Collection to London, hosting a pop-up in the heart of Chelsea. This milestone marked our first time presenting Beneai in the city — an opportunity to share our vision, craft, and story with a new audience.
The pop-up space became more than just a showcase of garments; it was an intimate introduction to the world of Beneai. Visitors experienced our textiles, designs, and philosophy firsthand, while we connected with a community that values creativity and authenticity.
This moment in London was not only a celebration of the Itia Collection, but also a step toward expanding the reach of Beneai globally.

We launched the Itia Collection — a name drawn from the Shipibo Conibo language, where Itia means time.
This collection embodies the essence of timelessness: garments created to be worn with intention, treasured over time, and carried through life’s many journeys. Each piece is brought to life with vivid textiles inspired by the Amazon’s abundant wildlife and adorned with Kene Art — a sacred visual language that reflects ancestral wisdom and a profound bond with nature.
The Itia Collection is more than garments; it is an exploration of form, texture, and storytelling. Rooted in heritage and brought forward with craft, it sets a foundation for the creative identity of Beneai and the journey ahead.

In February 2025, we introduced a new form of collaboration — a system for textile development created hand in hand with each community we work alongside.
This approach ensures that the design process is deeply rooted in dialogue, respect, and shared creativity. By shaping textiles within the cultural and artistic frameworks of their origin, we not only strengthen authenticity but also empower artisans to drive innovation from within their traditions.
This milestone reflects Beneai’s vision: building sustainable, collaborative models where heritage techniques evolve naturally, carrying ancestral knowledge forward while opening new pathways for contemporary design.

Noche Vogue — OrÃgenes 2024 Opening Night
At the opening of OrÃgenes 2024, Beneai Collective took the runway in a celebration of heritage, artistry, and modern elegance. Creative Director Ani Alvarez Calderón, presenting alongside Arianne Carrillo, underscored the brand’s mission: weaving ancestral knowledge into contemporary fashion.
The collection spotlighted sustainable luxury through the ancestral techniques of Kene Art — vivid natural dyes, hand-shaped textures, and embroidery rich with cultural symbolism. Each textile was a story, created in collaboration with Shipibo Conibo artisans Clemencia Silvano, Clara Silvano, Hermesilia Bardales, Nayeli Jimenez, Sarela Bardales, and Victoria Vasquez, whose mastery brought the pieces to life.
The show, directed by Christian Duarte, unfolded as an immersive journey where garments shimmered with craft, culture, and the enduring power of fashion to carry tradition forward.

Private Presentation — Elle Residences, Lima
In November 2025, Ani Alvarez Calderón and Beneai Collective hosted an intimate presentation inside The Elle Residences in Lima. Models moved through workspaces and glass corridors, transforming the building into a living runway and offering guests a close, immersive experience.
The evening highlighted Kene and Iskonawa pieces, where ancestral patterns and artisanal craftsmanship met contemporary silhouettes and fluid fabrics. More than a show, it was an experiential journey — a vivid celebration of heritage, artistry, and modern sophistication.

Mother’s Day Pop-Up
Beneai presented a Mother’s Day Pop-Up inside the Ginsberg + TSU Gallery in Lima, a space that at the time was showcasing the work of Spanish artist Sandra Val.
The pop-up unfolded as a shared space with jeweler Andrea Jose — two distinct practices united by a common purpose: working with women from the Peruvian Amazon to preserve heritage and celebrate artistry.
Together, textiles and jewelry became parallel expressions of culture and care, honoring mothers through creations that carry the stories, wisdom, and hands of the women who shaped them.

Marie Claire Netherlands
In April 2025, Beneai was featured in Marie Claire Netherlands. The article centered on the work that Bianca Boezewinkel Rivera, founder of Alegra, is bringing to Amsterdam — shining a light on Amazonian artistry in a new cultural context.
Alongside Bianca’s story, the issue featured Ani Alvarez Calderón and Arianne Carrillo, the mother–daughter duo behind Beneai, who spoke about the brand’s identity and vision. It also included Hermesilia Bardales, an artist from the Beneai Collective, highlighting the collaborative spirit at the core of the brand.
